Week 14 of Coronavirus 'Staycation'

~

In the news:

"Millions of Americans marked a very different Independence Day this year, with many choosing virtual celebrations or canceling plans altogether amid mounting concern over the coronavirus pandemic.

The changes followed pleas from health officials warning that holiday crowds and packed gatherings like the ones the US witnessed over Memorial Day weekend would likely lead to further spikes in coronavirus cases.

Nearly half of US states have halted their reopening plans as new coronavirus cases surged to record-breaking numbers in recent weeks.

Both city and state leaders attributed part of that rise to gatherings -- particularly among younger people." {CNN.com}

My thoughts:

I don't understand. How are we already in July? For my state/school/town/whatever, we weren't allowed to go out as of late March. Was that just around where I am or basically everywhere? Anyway, now that we're finally in July, I know I'm a few days late, but Happy 4th of July to all my American readers! For the fourth, my family and I went to a drive-in movie theatre, bought a bunch of snacks and watched Back to The Future! It was lots of fun because first off, I love Back to The Future, it's a great movie, second, I got to just sit on top of our car with a sleeping bag, radio, pillow cushion and food! We were up until around eleven and got home at midnight. Comment below what you did for the fourth of July, if anything!

I'd also like to promote my Twitch, YouTube and Roblox:

I've been streaming a lot on Twitch, particularly Roblox, so if you have Twitch, feel free to follow me! I try to stream a few times per week.

Have a great week, everyone! Happy 4th of July, happy July and make sure to stay safe!
